Feeling Different, Even If You Can’t Explain Why
Some of us have always felt a little different. Maybe you’ve been called ‘too much’ - too intense, too sensitive, too deep in thought. Maybe you’ve spent years masking, working hard to fit in, even when it left you exhausted. Or maybe you’ve embraced your uniqueness, standing out with bold patterns, bright hair, or unconventional ways of thinking and being.
Whatever it looks like from the outside, the experience of feeling different on the inside can be lonely, confusing, and sometimes overwhelming. And if you’ve ever wondered why - if you’ve questioned whether you might be neurodivergent, or if a diagnosis never felt like the whole story - you’re not alone.
I work with women who are deeply introspective and emotionally aware whether we wear our quirks outwardly with purple hair and bold patterns or whether our differences are quieter, woven into the way we think, feel, and process the world.
You Don’t Need a Diagnosis to Be Understood
Many of my clients come to me wondering if they might be autistic or have ADHD. Some already have a diagnosis, some are self-identified, and others simply resonate with neurodivergent experiences but aren’t sure where they fit. The truth is, you don’t need a label to benefit from a space that truly understands and supports you.
The deep-thinking, deep-feeling women I work with often struggle with:
Masking and burnout – The constant effort of fitting in and meeting expectations can leave you drained.
Overwhelm and emotional intensity – Feeling deeply is a gift, but it can also be exhausting, especially in a world that feels too loud, too fast, or too rigid.
Relationships and connection – Navigating friendships, family, or work relationships can be complicated when you experience the world differently.
If any of this resonates, you’re in the right place. My approach isn’t about forcing you into a box or pathologising your experience - it’s about helping you work with your unique way of thinking and feeling, so life feels easier, more fulfilling, and more aligned with who you truly are.
A Space Where You Can Be Yourself
Therapy should be a place where you can finally exhale - where you don’t have to explain or justify the way your brain works. It’s about discovering what helps you thrive, whether that means unmasking, setting boundaries, learning how to manage overwhelm, or simply being understood without needing to prove anything.
If you’ve ever felt like ‘too much’ or ‘not enough’ in the wrong spaces, know that you are just right in the right ones. And if you’re looking for a space where your depth, sensitivity, and unique perspective are truly seen and valued, I’m here.
