I support deep-thinking, deeply feeling women who have always felt a little different. You might be perfectionistic, exhausted, and overwhelmed - doing everything ‘right’ yet never feeling like it’s enough. I believe that life is intricately linked, and we’re a part of nature. Our environment, habits, heritage, circumstances, genes, upbringing & lifestyle habits play a crucial role in our well-being. My approach is holistic, integrating mind, body, and spirit, and tailored to suit your unique needs. For those who think a little differently or march to their own beat, this approach offers a welcoming space to reconnect with your true self. I use lifestyle medicine, EFT Tapping & other techniques to ensure you get the most out of our sessions. Together, we’ll create a personalised roadmap with simple, actionable steps to help you achieve your goals and maintain a healthy, balanced life.
About Me
Hi, I'm Hilke, a holistic counsellor and wellness coach for deep-feeling, deep-thinking women who have always felt a little ‘different’ - ‘too much’, and yet ‘not enough’. My journey into this work has spanned decades, beginning with my first steps into acupuncture and somatic therapies. My first Chinese Philosophy lesson where I was introduced to the 5 Element Theory was groundbreaking to me. The idea that everything is connected—our health, environment, relationships, and energy—resonated deeply with me and has shaped my holistic approach ever since.
Over the years, I’ve always believed that healing should address the whole person, not just the symptom. For a while, I moved away from energy-based therapies, questioning their scientific validity. But when I discovered EFT Tapping and learned about the wealth of research supporting it, it felt like a homecoming. Every time I witness the profound shifts my clients experience through tapping, or use it myself, I’m reminded of why I returned to this work: because it’s real, and it’s effective.
At the core of my practice are the values of authenticity, compassion, and respect for the unique path each person walks. I believe we are all doing the best we can, and that our differences are what make us truly beautiful. My goal is to support you as you navigate life’s challenges, helping you reconnect with your body’s natural wisdom and uncover the emotional and physical balance that already exists within you.
In addition to supporting others, I strive to live my values by working to cause as little harm as possible—to animals, to the Earth, and to those around me. I believe in a world where every action can make a difference.
When I’m not working with clients, I’m with my family. I’m incredibly grateful for the privilege of looking after those I love, and for the freedom this work affords me to spend time with them.
